"In the Fall of 1979, a small group of interested business professionals came together and formed the Scarborough Estate and Financial Planning Council.
Their objective was to bring together various professionals from within the Estate and Financial Planning field, meet on a regular basis, and develop a better understanding of each other's professional expertise for the benefit of their clients. The Council was composed of professionals from the Banking, Trust, and Insurance Industries, as well as professional accountants, lawyers, and financial consultants. The Council provides an opportunity for its members to keep current on relative issues, as well as network within the estate and financial planning areas."
